The new Dcode Book 4: Syllables is now available. It's the first Dcode title in our new format, with the teaching and the practice in separate books.
What's in the set: €35
- Textbook: the full Book 4 teaching content, for teachers and parents to work from
- Student Workbook: all the Book 4 exercises in one printed book, plus new exercises written for this edition
- Sound Cards: for practice and reinforcement, as before
Why the change
Each child now has their own workbook to write in, so there's nothing to download or print. The pages are black and white, so they stay clear and uncluttered, and children can colour them in as they go.
The Textbook stays with the teacher or parent and can be reused year after year. The Student Workbook is the part each child keeps.
Already have Book 4?
The Student Workbook is also sold on its own, in packs of 5, 10 or 20. It works with the earlier edition of Book 4, so your pupils can use the new exercises without replacing the book you already have.

What's next
Books 1–3 will follow in the new format over the coming months. We'll post here as each one is ready. Dcode Book 5-8 and Ncode are scheduled for 2027.
