Environmental & Social Actions: Supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals
At Dcode, we are proud to align our mission with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. While our core work naturally champions Goal 4 (Quality Education) by promoting equality in literacy, we are equally committed to environmental stewardship through Goals 11, 12, and 13.
- Reforestation & Biodiversity: Over the past 12 years, we have established 3.5 acres of mixed forestry on our property. We are also replacing all fencing with native Irish hedgerows—including Hazel, Blackthorn, Guelder Rose, and Crab Apple—to support local ecosystems.
- Sustainable Logistics: To minimize our carbon footprint, we use recyclable packaging and utilize an electric bike, and our EVs for transporting customer orders to Moate Post Office.
- Future Innovation: We are continuously researching more sustainable ways to deliver the Dcode Dyslexia programme while maintaining our commitment to educational equity.
