Impact Award, one week on!
I am getting a fabulous reception in the midlands since the news of being awarded a place on the prestigious Impact Programme, run by Social Entrepreneurs Ireland. I am delighted to be a part of such a journey and I hope to elevate the plight of dyslexics, struggling readers and the neuro-diverse in our education system in order to improve their educational opportunities and their path through life. To read is being recognised globally as a human right and UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 aims to “ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.” If 20% of all cannot read the system is exclusive and inequitable!
