One More Reason For Hope For Dyslexics, Struggling Readers & Neurodiverse Students: More Teachers Complete Structured Literacy Training In Mullingar ETNS This Thursday Evening

Many thanks to the participants who travelled out to this intense face-to-face course in Mullingar over 5 Thursday nights, leaving warm homes and their families for the evening. It gives me a great lift always to teach, talk and discuss teaching struggling readers and Structured Literacy with such committed professionals.

Thanks also to Paula Gilsenan, who added her experience as the former coordinator of the whole-school SL pilot in Gilson’s NS, Oldcastle, to show the participants the way, and the resources needed, to implement their pilot.

Thanks to Róisín, Tom and the staff of Mullingar ETNS for their warm welcome and help throughout. It was a most enjoyable and stress free experience.

Finally, thanks to Stephanie, Director, and Dympna, Admin, who arranged and organised the course through the auspices of the Athlone Education Support Centre.
